Sales of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have increased over the past month, as seen by 30-day figures that show NFT sales are up 22.37% over the previous month. NFT sales over the past week have increased by 5.13% compared to the previous week. Additionally, over the past two days, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs’ floor value was able to surpass Cryptopunks’ floor value by more than four ethereum.
Sales of NFT increased in November, increasing by 22% over those of October, and BAYC Floor outsold cryptopunks.
About two weeks ago, the two prestigious NFT collections, Cryptopunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs, were covered by Bitcoin.com News. In terms of NFT floor values, Cryptopunks NFTs were able to surpass BAYC NFTs at the time.but during the last two days, Bored Ape floor values have once again grabbed the reins.
The floor value of the cheapest BAYC at the time of writing is 69.88 ether, while the floor value of Cryptopunks is 65.94 ether. For two days, BAYC’s floor price has managed to surpass the floor price associated with the Cryptopunks collection.
Due to the $568.19 million in digital collectable sales last month, or around 22.37% more than the month before, NFT sales have increased during the past 30 days. The number of NFT buyers last month decreased by 12.83%, while the total number of NFT transactions decreased by 27.09% from the previous month.
Ethereum-based NFTs accounted for $443.55 million of the $568.19 million in NFT sales. Cryptoslam.io statistics show that sales of Ethereum-based NFTs have increased by 45.99% compared to last month.
The highest month-over-month growth in NFT sales was driven by the Arbitrum blockchain, where NFT sales increased by 46.83%. Sales of NFTs based on Ethereum and Arbitrum were below Fantom sales, which were up 43.58% from the previous month.
The following blockchains experienced notable month-over-month drops: Cardano NFT sales fell by 54.98%; BNB fell by 49.21%; Polygon NFT sales fell by 66.35%; and Ronin-based NFT sales fell by 54.76%. Sales of NFTs based on avalanches are also down 49.32% from the previous month.
The NFT collection that generated the highest revenue over the previous month was BAYC, which brought in $64,907,645 during the previous 30 days. The Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) NFTs made $29.14 million, and Art Gobblers made $57.18 million.
Meebits recorded the greatest 30-day gain out of the top 40 NFT collections in terms of sales this month, as Meebits NFT sales increased by 172.85% to $2.53 million. Bored Ape Yacht Club #8,633 was the most expensive NFT sold in the last month; it sold 12 days ago for $953K.
Following BAYC #8,633 were BAYC #1,268 (sold for $923K six days prior) and BAYC #232 (sold for $908K six days prior). The top five most expensive NFTs sold in the past 30 days were BAYC NFTs, with Cryptopunk #8,191’s $438K sale about 26 days ago ranked as the sixth-largest transaction.
