The G7 Leaders Launches Central Bank Digital Currency Policy Principle

This week, The G7, Group of Seven advanced economic nations which comprises Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.K., and the U.S. discusses central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). These Finance leaders from the G7 had the meeting in Washington on Oct. 13 and promoted 13 public policy principles regarding the newly launched CBDC’s, ordering it to not harm the central bank’s ability to maintain financial stability.
