The “Okx Collective,” a soccer-focused metaverse experience, has officially launched on Okx, one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges on the market. Stars from Manchester City, the current Premier League champion, such as Jack Grealish, Rben Dias, Ilkay Gündoan, and Alex Greenwood will be a part of the immersive experience.

More and more sports teams and athletes are tempted to customise metaverse platforms to provide spectators with fresh immersive experiences.

The largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume traded, Okx, will introduce a unique metaverse experience designed just for soccer fans.

For fans to interact with their heroes and get a glimpse of their off-field activities, the company has teamed up with a group of players from the Premier League’s reigning champion, the first-division soccer league in the United Kingdom.

The exchange explained in a press release that the collective will give fans a look into the world of these celebrities, who will contribute their exclusive workout music, content, and NFT-based digital experiences to the platform.

In order to strengthen and widen their relationship with their fans, soccer clubs have been especially interested in and active when it comes to introducing more experiences of this nature.

The Okx collective’s players come from a variety of backgrounds.

Four Manchester City players, including veteran Ilkay Gündoan, Jack Grealish, Ruben Santos, and Alex Greenwood from the rows of the women’s Manchester City team, will contribute their content to the platform.

  • Grealish thinks that introducing soccer to the metaverse will give fans a fresh perspective on the game.

I’ve really enjoyed using the assistance of the Club and Okx to make my online presence come to life.
