Jim Cramer, the host of Mad Money, has advised investors to liquidate their cryptocurrency holdings, stressing that “it’s never too late to sell a terrible investment.” The defunct trading platform FTX, according to Cramer, “won’t be the last of these crypto exchanges to go down.”
Following the failure of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, Jim Cramer, the host of CNBC’s Mad Money show, has encouraged investors to sell their bitcoins.
The presenter of Mad Money once owned bitcoin, ether, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), but he sold all of them last year.
He has been recommending investors to stay away from speculative assets, such as cryptocurrency, as long as the Federal Reserve is still tightening monetary policy.
Cramer also discussed his opinions on the collapse of FTX.
On November 11, Sam Bankman-(SBF) Fried’s cryptocurrency exchange filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, causing an estimated one million clients and investors to lose billions of dollars.
