The virtual currency license that enables the Nigerian cryptocurrency exchange Roqqu to provide its services in 28 European nations was recently revealed.
The European Union license “aligns with the brand’s mission to become the number one blockchain and crypto company globally,” claims Israel Ololade, the head of product at Roqqu.
According to a statement from the company, the Nigerian cryptocurrency exchange Roqqu just received a license from the European Union (EU) for virtual currencies, allowing it to serve customers in 28 different European nations.
Benjamin Eseoghene, the CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange, claimed in a recent interview with Bitcoin.com News that user requests for Roqqu to think about making its services “available to their friends and family who live and study abroad” may have had an impact on the company’s decision to enter Europe.
The EU license, according to Israel Ololade, “aligns with the brand’s mission to become the number one blockchain and cryptocurrency enterprise internationally.” Additionally, Ololade continued, Roqqu’s entry into Europe creates a pathway for Nigerians living abroad to easily transmit money to loved ones back home.
