Bitmain’s New Bitcoin Antminer T21 Set to Ship in January 2024

Bitmain, a leading Bitcoin miner manufacturer, unveils the Antminer T21 with 190 TH/s computing power and 19 J/TH energy efficiency. Shipping starts in January 2024, with a price protection plan.

Bitcoin mining giant Bitmain has introduced its latest offering, the Antminer T21. This air-cooling miner, unveiled at the Blockchain Life 2023 Forum in Dubai, boasts an impressive computing power of 190 TH/s and an energy efficiency ratio of 19 J/TH. Bitmain plans to start shipping the Antminer T21 in January 2024.

Bitmain also offers a price protection plan for Antminer T21 buyers, which guards against cryptocurrency price declines. Available until November 25, 2023, this plan ensures compensation in cash if the BTC price falls below a set threshold during the protected period. The company touts immediate compensation upon triggering.

Despite competition from other ASIC miner manufacturers like Canaan, Bitmain remains a significant player in the industry. Canaan, an early entrant in Bitcoin mining, recently launched its sustainability-focused A14 series miners in the Middle East.

While the ASIC industry has faced challenges, with prices per terahash dropping significantly, Bitmain’s Antminer T21 presents an enticing option for miners looking to stay competitive in the evolving landscape.
