Again fluctuating, Tron’s USDD Stablecoin falls below $1 parity in early 2023

During the first week of 2023 and on January 10, the USDD stablecoin based on Tron slipped below $1 parity once more.

The stablecoin fell to $0.972 per unit four days ago, and on January 10, 2023, the USDD fell to $0.977 per unit.

The Tron-issued stablecoin is now trading for 98 cents per coin as of the time of writing.

The price of a token of USDD stablecoin falls to 97 cents.

The price of USDD has fluctuated a little bit in the start of the year, with the stablecoin occasionally falling below the 97-cent area in 2023.

The stablecoin was able to restore the $1 peg by trading between 98 and 99 cents per unit on June 19, 2022, when USDD hit a low of 92.8 cents per unit.

On January 10, 2023, Tron’s USDD stablecoin will have a 30-day view against the dollar.

A comparable incident happened last week when the USDD price dropped to $0.972 per unit on January 6, 2023.

Charts demonstrate that USDD’s behavior on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, four days later, suggests that the stablecoin dropped to a low of $0.977 per unit over the previous 24 hours.

By market capitalization, USDD is currently the eighth-largest stablecoin with $710.03 million as of Tuesday at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.
